I Just Needed A Plan

After some potentially disapointing and life changing news Sunday night, Monday and Tuesday were not good days for me. I started to think about where my life was headed and what I had accomplished and what I still felt I needed to feel complete and satisfied in my life right now. After a few days of analyzing and major stressing out, I realized that I just needed a backup plan. I needed to have some idea in my head of where life would take me and my husband in the next few years and how we would adjust those plans if things don't work out how we would like them to.
I would like to start a family before the end of 2010. I would like to put our house up for sale and buy one with more space, on a better street, and in the neighborhood of a few close friends. I would like a specific office/computer room in the new house. I would like to get an SUV for all the trips to Home Depot and the grocery store (I am sick of carting everything in a 2 door car). I would like to start going back to church every Sunday.

Some of these things may seem silly but they will help me cope if the news we are hoping to receive soon is negative. I just needed a plan to be OK with whatever the outcome is.

My New Dream Vehicle!

Lately (well, for the last year or so) I have had an obsession with getting a pearl white SUV. I am not set on a particular make or model, but after spending a few hours looking at various dealership websties these are my top 6 that I have come up with. Of course I would ultimately prefer a cream Escalade, but these are more relistic. One day I WILL have one!

Does She Take A Piece Of Lime?

I absolutely LOVE Britney's new single but I must say I am quite disappointed with the new video. I get the premise (morning after a hotel party with bodies, panties, and promiscuity everywhere) but what the heck is up with the last 45-60 seconds? I don't get how this ties into the rest of the video. Is she trying to show she can be whorish while "seeking Amy", but present a wholesome houeswife image on the outside? Any insights?

A Cosmetic Product The Really Works

Very rarely I decide to venture out of my cosmetic comfort zone and try a new product. While browsing the Wal-Mart make up aisle, I decided I really wanted to try Maybeline's new Matte Mousse collection which promised flawless coverage and a smooth finish. All I can say is that this mousse will now be a staple in my cosmetics collection. While I do always start with a layer of liquid foundation, the product gives a non-oily smooth finish and is great to cover blemishes too. Love it!

Happy Kitchen VS Dark Kitchen

Even though it's extremely periwinkle this kitchen is just so bright and happy looking to me! I absolujtely LOVE the little plants in the white pots!

On the other hand this crisp and sophisticated kitchen is absolutely stunning. The glass countertops and compass design on the floor are to die for. I think I'd have to have a cosmopolitan or a martini in my hand at all time when cooking just to do the room justice!

In Ground Bathtub

Although this looks more like a spa hot tub, I would love to have a bathroom with a tub like this! I could step right in and read my book over the side and not worry about my hair getting wet. I especially love the slide-like faucet and the permimeter of stones.
